Greetings – excellent theme. I’m having one issue with getting the Add to Pinterest functionality working on pages containing portfolios.

For example, visit http://ximudesign.com/aside/portfolio-c-interlock/ and then click the “+” button in the bottom right corner. Then click the Pinterest button. None of the portfolio images are available to be added to Pinterest.

Interestingly, the Pinterest button does work for the featured image only when you visit individual portfolio posts with multiple images such as: http://ximudesign.com/aside/2014/03/26/portfolio-post-with-slider-right-content/

Would be great to get the Pinterest button fully functional for the page builder portfolio AND the various portfolio posts.

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers,

    Zac

    Hi Zac,

The page/post need to be set a featured image. You could set featured image in a page even with pagebuilder. as the demo http://ximudesign.com/aside/portfolio-c-interlock/ , I set a featured image for it, the pin button is shown now.

    Thanks for your quick reply.

While adding a Featured Image to each page allows for a single image to be shared via Pinterest, this isn’t the best functionality for pages featuring many images within a portfolio (or for posts with multiple images in a slideshow). Ideally the Pinterest share feature would allow pinning of any of the images currently displayed on the page.

    Cheers,

    Zac

Hi Zac, welcome, the Pinterest share api needs to be set a image url, it can’t get the image of this page automatically.
