    Hello. Is there a way that I can create a semi-transparent background on my magazine tiles, in order to make the titles easier to read?

    Thank you.

    Hi, please try to use the css:

    .magazine-unit-img-wrap-inn{opacity: .8;}

    Best, Bwsm

    Hmm. This makes the tile picture transparent, but I was looking more for something like if the title is in a text box, coloring in the background of that text box without changing the photo itself.

    Did you mean put the background colour for title(screenshot) only? don’t talk about the meta info(date, author…).

    I would like something similar to the highlighted title, shown in the attached screen shot (the NSA story). This would make it easier to read my titles when scrolling through the page.

    plz try to use the css:

    .magazine-unit-tit > a {
    background-color: rgba(0,0,0,.3);
    padding: 3px 10px;
    }

    change the background colour value as yours.
