    When creating a textual link in a post, the link color isn’t an option in the Schemes section, and the color only changes on hover. How can I set it so that the link color is set on the text even when the text isn’t being hovered over?

    Nevermind. I got it. I added the following into the custom css section:

    a { color: #1699B3; text-decoration: none; }

    Glad you solved it 🙂

    Update:

    Using just a { color: #1699B3; text-decoration: none; } will change all link color, and remove the hover effect even from blog titles. I’ve since updated my custom css section to the following as a work around:

    p a { color: #1699B3; text-decoration: none; }

    please try to use:
    .entry p a {color: #1699B3; text-decoration: none;}
