    Hello,

    When hovering over an image in the “Masonry” Portfolio type I would like to have the image fade in opacity and plain white text to appear overtop. Currently, the hover has a white bar with black text appearing.

    Additionally, instead of having the only options for text displayed on the image hover being the title of the post and its category, how can I input custom text for each individual image on the image hover?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    1/
    Please paste the custom css code to “Appearance > Customize : Additional CSS”

    .grid-item-con:after {display:none;}
    .grid-item-con:hover .ux-lazyload-wrap {  opacity: 0.4;}

    There is not the default option, I can give you a simple solution, but I didn’t test it fully. Need notice: there is not enough space to contain much text. It needs also some style job.
    Plz change the /functions/interface/interface-functions.php:
    Put the custom text like post excerpt into grid-item-con-text wrap:

    <div class="grid-item-con-text">
    <div class="grid-item-excerpt"><?php the_excerpt(); ?></div>
    ...
    </div>

    Regards!
