Change Homepage Irregular List Hover Effect

Hello,

I’d like to know how to change the hover effect on the Irregular List template. I’m not really fond of the image moving according to the position of the mouse and I’d like something more static (the image becoming darker for instance). I can’t find this option anywhere.

+ there’s also a small problem with my header/menu section on my portfolio (“Projects”) page. When I use the Masonry layout, the top images are cropped. I think the white header section is on top of them. I don’t know how to change that.
Could you help?

please go to Appearance > Customize, paste the custom css code to “Additional CSS” box.
