    Hi,
    1. I want to add an item to the menu but not link to any page or post, just simply a name. For example, “product”, but not link to anything. when customer click on it, it will not link to any page or post, it will have sub items.

    2. How do I add a link to a post for my privacy policy in footer?

    Thank you,
    Kevin Hsu

    Hi,

    1. refer http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-add-titles-in-wordpress-menu-without-linking-to-a-page/
    2. you can add link in a widget like “Footer 1 for Post/Page “, activate by Theme Options > Layout : Enable Footer Widget for Posts

    Regards!

    Hi,
I do not mean to be a bother, but I am new to this. I did enable footer widget, but I do not see an option to add a customer link to a post.

I actually want add a link in the footer. The link is linked to my privacy policy. For example, I want to add the text “Privacy Policy” in the footer, and customer can click on it and it will display my privacy policy. How do I add the text and link in the footer?

    Thank you very much!

    Hi,

Off course, you can use the footer menu also, but it will show on all pages:
    1) set foot menu in Appearance > Menus
    2) pickup the menu in Appearance > Theme Options > Layout: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1x4prfvz3lc8qrq/QQ20180213-123115%402x.jpg?dl=0

    Regards!
