The documentation isn’t very clear about creating sub-menus. How can I create a menu item that has other menu items in it, like the “post Type” menu on the demo website?

hi, please setting submenu like this:
    1.from backend, click appearance/menus
2.assignment Main Menu (for example: Main Navi)
3.select menu ‘Main Navi’ and add menu items
4.drag a menu item to right make it to submenu.
    refercence attached images,
    Thank you.

I’m having a similar issue where I can’t get any submenus to show up. I’ve done what is shown in the images posted above, but nothing.
