    Hello again 🙂

The expanded thumbnail just isn’t quite right for my blog content. Is it possible to disable this so when I click on a post thumbnail in the archive it goes straight to the single post page?

I would like to keep this fuctionality for a future gallery but remove it for the blog archive.

    Thanks so much. Again 🙂

yes, you can. to do this please:
    1. create a page for you blog posts: page attributes>template select ‘list page’; page options section check option ‘Forbid Ajax-loading content’
    2. assign this page to your front page or menu item:
    a. assign this page to your front page: settings/reading: a static page(select below), select the page you created step 1.
    b. assing this page to your menu item: apperance/menus: select or add a menu item, input the page url to URL field.
